How Do I Get Cash Back? You receive 15% of the commissions earned by the AHS assigned Realtor. For example if you are selling your home, register with AHS as step 1. AHS will assign a local Realtor that will sell your home. If the home sales price is $250,000, the typical real estate commissions earned by your AHS agent (or any agent) would be $7,500.00 or 3%. You would receive a cash back rebate of 15% of $7,500.00 or $1,125.00. |

What Is An Interest Rate Float Down Option? Once you “lock” your interest rate with any lender you are protected against interest rate increases in the market. A significant advantage of locking with PrimeLending, the AHS Lender, is that you are not only protected against interest rate increases in the market, but you are also able to take advantage of interest rate improvements in the market at no cost. No other national lender offers such a program.
For example, if you are several weeks away from closing on the purchase of a new home and you lock an interest rate of 4.5% and 1 week later, the market rates move to 4.125%, PrimeLending will move you to the lower rate at no charge. Ask your AHS representative for specific details for your loan. |

What Does Georgia Tech Get When I Participate In AHS? TECH receives a flat payment of $300 per loan closed regardless of the size of the loan or the volume of loans that the Program produces. TECH also receives 5% of the real estate commissions earned from every purchase or sale. Alumni can also donate all or a portion of their 15% to the Alumni Association. |

How Can AHS Help My Local Network Raise Money For Scholarships? When Alumni or the Alumni’s friends, family or co-workers register for the AHS Program, they should mention the name of the local club or network that referred them to the Program. Georgia Tech Alumni Association will donate $100 of the $300 paid from the Lender back to the Local Network or Club. Additionally, participants will be given the opportunity to donate all or a portion of their 15% “Cash Back” from real estate services to either GTAA or their local club or network.
For example: A participant purchases a $300,000.00 home using the GTAA AHS Program and indicates that they want to give back 50% of the cash rebate to the local club. The Lender will pay GTAA $300.00. 3% real estate commissions are $9,000. 15% is $1,350. 5% is $450.
The dollars distributed between GTAA, the local Network and the participating Alumni would be as follows:

Example 3: A local Network consists of 1,000 Alumni households with a combined sphere of influence that includes 5,000 other households. Statistically speaking, at least 68% of the 6,000 combined households or 4,080 are currently homeowners. Again statistically speaking of the 4,080, 12%-17% utilize either real estate or mortgage services or both each year. If that number were further minimized to 10% the population of households requiring services each year is 408. If the local Network were to penetrate only 10% of that number it would be 40.8 transactions per year. If 40.8 transactions reflected Example 1 above, the local Network would earn $31,620 per year for scholarships for local deserving students. |
